The development direction of dry-type transformer in recent years

The annual output of dry transformers has reached 10,000 MVA, becoming one of the largest countries in the world. With the popularization and application of SC(B)9 series with low noise (distribution transformer noise below 2500kVA has been controlled within 50dB) and energy saving (no-load loss has been reduced by 25%), the performance indicators of dry transformers in China and their production technology have reached the international advanced level. With the promotion and application of dry transformers, its production technology has also made great progress, it can be predicted that the future dry transformers will be further developed in the following aspects.


(1) Energy saving and low noise: With the new low-consumption silicon steel sheet, foil winding structure, stepped core joints, environmental maintenance requirements, in-depth noise research, and the introduction of new materials, new processes and new technologies such as computer optimization design, the future dry transformer will be more energy saving and more quiet.


(2) High reliability: Improving product quality and reliability will be people's unremitting pursuit.


(3) Environmental protection characteristics certification: Based on the European specification HD464, the dry-type transformer's weather resistance (C0, C1, C2), environmental resistance (E0, E1, E2) and fire resistance (F0, F1, F2) characteristics are discussed and certified.


(4) Large capacity: From 50 ~ 2500kVA distribution transformer based dry transformers, to 10,000 ~ 20000kVA/35kV power transformers, with the increase of urban power load, urban network regional substation more and more into the city center, residential areas, large factories and mines and other load centers, 35kV large capacity cell central power transformer will be widely used.


(5) Multi-function combination: from a single transformer to a multi-function combined transformer with air cooling, maintenance housing, temperature computer interface, zero sequence transformer, power metering, closed bus and side outlet.


(6) Multi-scope development: from distribution transformers, to power station transformers, excitation transformers, subway traction rectifier transformers, high-current electric furnace transformers, nuclear power plants, Marine and oil production platforms and other special transformers and multi-purpose development. Among them, dry traction transformers for urban subway and rail transit, voltage 10, 20 and 35kV three grades, capacity of 800, 2500 and 3300kVA, in order to reduce harmonic pollution, from 12 pulse rectification to 24 pulse rectification; The exciting transformer of the largest 840000kW generator in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River has been successfully developed by Shunte Factory and passed the national acceptance. It can be predicted that the distribution transformers in the 21st century will be resin-insulated dry transformers with superior performance, low noise and energy saving.
